Top 5 Air Travel Apps on Android in Hungary: Q1 2025 Performance

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of Hungary's top air travel apps on the Android platform showcased a variety of trends in downloads and active user engagement, according to Sensor Tower data.

Wizz Air - Book, Travel & Save, published by Wizz Air Hungary, experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.5K in early January. The app's active user base showed an overall upward trend, starting from 54K and reaching over 67K mid-quarter.

eSky - Cheap Flights & Travel from eSky Group saw a strong start with 3.6K downloads in the second week of January, though this number gradually declined to 652 by the end of March. Active users also followed a similar trajectory, decreasing from 5.8K to 2.3K by the quarter's end.

Ryanair maintained steady weekly downloads, ranging between 1.8K and 2.5K. Meanwhile, active users increased significantly, starting at 31K and reaching 43.5K by the end of March.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, rising to approximately $582 by the end of March. Downloads also saw an upward trend, peaking at 1.7K in the final week of the quarter. Active users grew from 23K to nearly 26.5K.

Pelikan.hu experienced a decline in downloads, starting from 1K and dropping to 267 by the end of the quarter.
